M1 | A Class M1 license allows the applicant to operate either a motorcycle or a motor-driven cycle. The applicant must be at least 16 years of age. E-bikes cannot be used for a road test to obtain an M1 or M2 endorsement. |

M2 | A Class M2 license allows an applicant who is 14 or 15 years of age to operate a motor-driven cycle only. An M2 vehicle is defined as a motor cycle, motor scooter, motorized bicycle, or similar conveyance with a motor attached and having an engine with 50 cc or less displacement. This does not include a 3-wheel all-terrain vehicles. E-bikes cannot be used for a road test to obtain an M1 or M2 endorsement. |

Commercial Drivers License (CDL) |

Class A: | Allows an individual to drive a motor vehicle or a combination of a motor vehicle and one or more other vehicles with a Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) greater than 26,000 pounds where the combined Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the vehicle or vehicles being towed is greater than 10,000 pounds. |

Class B: | A single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 lbs or more, or any such vehicle towing a vehicle not in excess of 10,000 lbs gross vehicle weight rating. |

Class C: | A single vehicle less than 26,001 lbs gross vehicle weight rating, or any such vehicle towing a vehicle not in excess of 10,000 lbs gross vehicle weight rating. Applies only to vehicles placarded for hazardous materials or designed to transport 16 or more passengers, including the driver. |

Passenger Vehicle: | Any vehicle designed to transport 16 or more passengers (including the driver) (Regardless of how many passengers are being transported and whether or not the vehicle has been modified to carry less than 15 passengers.) |

School Bus: | The school bus license allows a person to operate a school bus or a bus designed to transport 16 or more school children including the driver. The Passenger and School Bus written tests are required before the license can be issued. |

Remove Airbrake 'L' Restriction: | If you bring in a vehicle of the same class that is equipped with airbrakes, a limited pre-trip inspection, and road test will be performed. If you bring in a different class of vehicle with airbrakes, the entire test must be administered (pre-trip, skills test and road test) and a new class of license will be issued. The airbrake knowledge test must be passed and a CLP must be held for 14 days before skills testing. |

Remove Automatic Transmission 'E' Restriction: | If you bring in the same class of vehicle that is equipped with a manual transmission, no pre-trip inspection is necessary, and the skills test and road test will be performed. If you bring in a different class of vehicle equipped with a manual transmission, the entire test (pre-trip, skills tests, and road test) must be administered and a new class of license will be issued. A CLP must be held for 14 days before skills testing. |

Remove Tractor Trailer 'O' Restriction: | To remove the 'O' restriction you must test in a Class A tractor/trailer or a Class B truck/trailer combination that meet Class A CDL requirements. A complete pre-trip, skills test and road test must be performed. A CLP must be held for 14 days before skills testing. |
Remove CDL Waiver Communities '8' Restriction: | To remove the '8' restriction a complete pre-trip, skills test and road test must be performed. |
